2011 Country Music Awards. One of the biggest nights in country music has been kicked off at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee as stars stepped out on Wednesday, November 9 for the 45th Annual Country Music Association Awards. Among those looking lovely on the red carpet. Though many of country music’s hottest stars came out to shine last night at last night’s CMA’s Awards 2011, there were definitely many who missed the mark. Taylor Swift looked like a winter dream in a graceful oyster-colored J. Mendel gown complete with a billowing train. Billboard’s Woman Of The Year blended old Hollywood glamour with a modern, youthful radiance as she polished off her look with Christian Louboutin shoes and Lorraine Schwartz jewelry.
The portrait of poise and grace, LeAnn Rimes shined in a Badgley Mischka dress, YSL shoes, and a Chanel bag.
CMAs co-host Carrie Underwood dazzled in a gorgeous gold sequin ombre cap sleeve gown by Reem Acra. The blonde bombshell looked like a Greek goddess in the twinkling number as she gracefully made her way down the red carpet, flipping her hair and smiling for the cameras.
Nicole Kidman rocked a gunmetal colored strapless gown by Jean Paul Gaultier and 1930’s diamond floral-tiered choker. The stunning actress completed her classic look with perhaps the hottest accessory of the evening, husband and country singer Keith Urban dangling off her arm.
Faith Hill kept things simple and demure in a white column gown by Chado Ralph Rucci. The reigning queen of glamour perfectly punctuated her sophisticated look with a diamond and pearl cocktail ring and studded earrings. Her hair was a tad large, but this is the CMAs after all.
Reba McEntire’s green velvet white strap gown looked like something your parents forced you to wear to a holiday gathering. It’s not Christmas yet Reba.
Natasha Bedingfield is usually on point, however at the CMAs the British singer’s style fell a bit flat. Appearing a bit too dressed down, Bedingfield stepped onto the red carpet in an ill fitting top and black skirt. The look seems more appropriate for an office rather than an awards show.
Susie Brown of The JaneDear Girls tried to bring a little bit of rock ‘n roll to an evening that was more then a little bit country. While we do love her for trying, Brown’s discombobulated look lacked charm, but you have to love that cupcake purse
Little Big Town’s Kimberly Schlapman looked electrifying in all the wrong ways in a sequenced gown complete with giant untamed hair.
