The country crooner kicked things off on the red carpet with a gold sequined Reem Acra gown featuring a portrait neckline, which she paired with drop earrings, glitter Stuart Weitzman Vevey platforms, and a gold clutch.
For her opening song with Brad Paisley, however, the CoverGirl pinned back Carrie Underwood blonde hair and slipped into a white asymmetrical Cengiz Abazoglu party dress with origami-style pleats, adding sparkle thanks to a bow-detailed white silk cuff from Cuffs Couture and diamond earrings from Royal Asscher.
Speaking of sleeves, the quick-change artist had plenty more up hers. Like a Georges Chakra Couture coral one-shouldered lace dress featuring a dramatic tulle train to rival any bride.
Underwood later wore the label’s Fall 2011 black and copper sequined cocktail dress with a ruffled satin organza neckline. flowing gowns also got some love.
Carrie Underwood in Zuhair Murad Cruise 2012 strapless floral gown with beaded accents offered a feminine touch in Cma Awards 2011, while a black and white tie-dyed dress with a dramatic slit and black onyx and diamond Sutra drop earrings channeled sultry boho-chic.
And for a more daring look, Underwood opted for Victor Velyan chandelier earrings, Royal Asscher’s floating diamond pendant necklace, and Jean Fares Couture’s green marbled-print satin gown with cut-out sleeves .
